To those who dislike Rachel Price (hereafter RP) for whatever reason, and take great joy in the news that she has been served a pre-action protocol letter (hereafter PAPL) by the President, for remarks made about his wife s attire.. I urge you to see beyond the PERSONALITY that is RP, and pay attention to the fact that she is a PERSON, and a CITIZEN within a DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY.... RP was not defaming Mrs Carmona, or stating untruth, she commented on, made light of, made comedy out of, Mrs Carmonas attire, at an official UN function.... Comedians & Calysonians have been doing this to public officials for years, this is our culture.... I can name dozens of songs about OMA! Hazel! They even called Eric ah DEAF MUTE! As we approach General Election 2015, has the President set the STAGE for all those in public office to now send PAPLs to CITIZENS for speaking about their attire, demeanor, attitude et al? Moreover, if the President had used his powers to inform his wife, that attending ANY FUNCTION, whether it be fashion or formal with HER BELLY exposed is improper, then we wouldnt be having this conversation.. Mr President, since you are aware of the discourses on radio, then I am sure you must be aware of the PUBLIC OUTCRY over many matters of state. I humbly suggest that you address same with like manner of efficiency and care! I thank you!
