To those who love/like to sing: I have recently been called to be the GF Choir Director and I am very excited! I dont care how well you sing, if you can read music or if you have time to practice. I only care if you want to praise the Lord through song. If so, this choir is the right fit for you! Dec. 21 we will be singing in Sacrament. I am hammering out the details now but it will be awesome. The Spirit will amplify our humble praises to sound beautiful to the ears of the Lord. So plan ahead - Choir is coming to the Sacrament near you! :) My plan for choir is to NOT make it cumbersome. We will practice ONCE a month outside of church and the Sunday we sing we will practice beforehand. The music will be simple (The accompaniment might not be) and EVERYONE is invited to praise their God with singing. YOU will make the the choir awesome by your participation. So PLEASE plan to participate. You will be blessed. The ward will be blessed and Heavenly Father will be pleased with our efforts.
