To update our followers on VFA, and we would like to thank everyone whom had came forward to assist us helping the Furkids in anyway form of help. We sincerely thank you for all the help you had rendered. Just to share on how VFA functions and Operates, we have a worker who help us to maintain the Furkids in VFA 6 days week, he basically operates from morning to the afternoon, which is half a day. The Team recently had a discussion and had decided to hired a full time worker to assist us with the maintaining of the Furkids in VFA, and guess what, the new worker will join VFA early next month. we would like to thank our adopters (VFA Alumni) whom had came forward to help us contribute to the monthly pay for the helper. WE have got this part covered. Our monthly Utilities Bill has been covered by a wonderful and Special lady. (we cant name her, but to thank her, she has been doing this for the Furkids since the day VFA have our own adoption center) Our monthly Rental for the space for our Furkids, the whole space that the Furkids are residing has been fully subsidized by one super kind man. (we cant name him either, but we all know that he is a super animal lover) Our monthly supplies of food for the fur kids, Eagle Pro has been contributing 6 bags of dog food and Bosch Contributed 10 bags of dog food every month. Each days, our dogs required about 1 bag of dog kibbles for them, which at the end of the day, we have to pay for the remaining of the food which are needed monthly . If you would like to contribute to the food for the Furkids at VFA, please do drop us a PM and we would guide you on how to proceed. Lastly the medical Bills which all the other shelters are facing as well, we have cleared the previous bills for the last batches of dogs which we had sent them in, but majority of our rescued dogs are old, and most of them needed medical attention, during the past months, we have been sending in about 20 of them in the Vet for treatment and surgeries, like a most recent case, one of our Maltese Namely Shae, she is a blind old female maltese, recently she was diagnosed by the Vet to be having a Growth on her tongue and surgery was needed to have the lump removed from her Tongue, she survived from the surgery. till today date, after we cleared the previous bills for the previous batches of dogs, we estimated to be having about close to 10K outstanding. we are clearing bit by bit. (if you would like to help us with the medical bills, please do write in to us) we will be doing up some sales of items during our coming adoption drive 26 July 2014 Saturday, at Mutts & Mittens, No 11 Pasir Ris Farmway 2 to raise money for the medical bills and food bills for the fur kids, please do come and support us, we need your support to help us to save more Furkids, we are also doing some renovation to our Adoption center, if you are able to help us chipping in for the Kiddos, please do come forward. Drop us a PM. WE hope to see you at our coming adoption drive, please invite your friends over. Regards Team VFA
