To whom this may be read, I am dang proud to be a member of the finest nation in the world, and even prouder to be a part of the finest fighting force this nation has ever produced. Being in the Navy has given and taught me things that I could have only dreamed of three years ago. Now, here I am, living-out those dreams at the most beautiful college campus in these blessed United States, the United States Naval Academy. Thank you to all of those who have built me up to be the man that I am today. For that, I am eternally thankful. Likewise, I hope that you all are as continuously challenged in your daily lives as I am, and that you have the ability to grow and succeed as much as I do. For this, I have you all, the taxpayers, to thank. Thank you for supporting me and all others that serve this wonderful and prosperous nation. The last 13 years have definitely been a struggle for our fair nation, but its Patriots like you that keep us moving in the right direction by keeping us free from the hands of tyranny. I hope that you all had a safe and wonderful Patriots Day, and that you were all able to reflect upon all of the great strides that our country has made in the last few years, despite fighting two wars (as well as operating in multiple other military conflicts along the way) and a massive economic downturn.
