Today, 14 years ago and after 12 grueling hours of labor, I gave birth to my first child, Justin Hollisterboii Rice. The Amigo of the 3 Amigos. I am so blessed to have a young man who is maturing into the man that God has called him to be. Although the journey sometimes feels arduous, I am soo blessed and grateful that God chose me to nurture and raise him in the way he should go. He is such a loving, insightful and charismatic young man. Being an only child myself, watching him care for his brothers while maintaining his child-like qualities is a task in itself, but he does this without grumbling. He understands the demographics of our family and uses it as a stepping stone and not a stumbling block! Justin Amir Rice, I salute you today, The love you exhibit to us is not unnoticed.
