Today, 17 years ago our father passed from our world to be with our mother in heaven. Our father was the most talented, amazing man I knew and loved. Our father’s career led him to a wonderful profession under the Architect of the US Capitol; as a carpenter – not just any carpenter - his talents had no end in the artistry of cabinet making and woodworking. His talents became a lost art; his skill and creativity far surpass his peers in the industry. His work lives on in the Capitol, at West Point (on tour he once viewed a special wooden case that he designed and crafted for a past president); who knows of the many works that still exist and where they rest. I learned so much from my dad and will forever be grateful. We LOVE you dad, your children.
