Today 39 years ago we were blessed with our fourth child, Miyoshi Umeki Jones. I know that it is an odd name for an African-American child but it is a beautiful name and it belongs to a beautiful person. She is intelligent, lovable, caring, loves her family especially her two sons and an awesome pole climber. I often teases her that they had me on a test drug because at first she didnt want to be born and now she is so active until she eats. Saying all that I would like to wish her a very happy birthday. Enjoy your day and if my hand was not in a cast I would climb the pole with you.
