Today Ajay Devgn celebrates his 45th birthday. He may not be a match to the Khans of B-Town in look but he is one of the finest and versatile actor Indian cinema has ever produced. He started his carrier in 1991 by acting in Phool Aur Kante. Ajay Devgn, who was always seen as an action star, surprised one and all with his sensitive portrayal in the Mahesh Bhatt film Zakhm. Ajay Devgn played the role of a man affected by communal conflict in his and his mothers life. The actor bagged National Award for best actor in the year 1999 for his outstanding performance. In 2002 he again bagged National Award for best actor for his performance in The legend of Bhagat Singh. In this long 23 years of his carriers he did many action, romantic, comedy, and intense roles. His roles in the movies like Zakhm, The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Company, Khakee, Omkara, Gangajal etc: are enough to prove his intensive acting skills.
