Today, Andy gave congrats on my prediction of +9 Republican Senate seat gain with the OT Louisiana Senate race. The Obama administration’s anti-energy policies were the political anchor that Sen. Landrieu could not shed. Its an indication of the importance of energy production for jobs and prosperity in energy producing States. We also discussed the benefit of lower gasoline prices, saving families over $800 annually. Lower fuel prices can mean more presents under the Christmas tree this year, improved home values in suburban areas and a better economy if all energy and electricity prices are competitively low. In the NFL this week, I’m picking St. Louis over the returning Cardinals/Arizona, Pittsburgh over Atlanta, Cleveland over Cincinnati, Philadelphia over Dallas and New Orleans over Chicago. With three weeks to go in the regular reason, I’m up with 42 wins to Andy’s 35 and Ann’s 39.
