Today Apple presents the new iPhone and iPad family. This is thought to be one of the most anticipated events in tech industry. Jobs and Wozniak received first investment of $250000 from angel investor Mike Markkula back in 1977. Seeing Jobs and Woz work, Markkula thinks he can put Apple on the Fortune 500 in 5 years (and he eventually does) 1980 Apple stock goes public. Jobs Is worth $217 million by the end of the 1st day of trading. Maybe that was the day, when Forrest Gump also got “some kind of fruit company” stock.
