Today April 25th 2004.. 10 years ago at 8 oclock a.m. I found my dad laying dead of a heart attack in the hallway of our barn, it was a Sunday morning... The last thing anyone heard him say was the neighbors heard him praying, glorifying God... Dad was more than a dad to me he was my best friend we went hundreds of thousands of miles together on weekends he was my buddy... Some days it seems like its been forever and some days it seems like it was yesterday. I go to places like barrel races and I see people he knew and the first thing I wanna do is get on the phone and call him and tell him who I saw and then I realize he is not there hes in heaven... This is going to be a hard day for me please keep me in your prayers Ive had people tell me it gets easier but after 10 years it still hurts so bad... I would never wish for him to come back because heaven is an awesome place, but I sure miss him a lot... it stings every once in a while when I see our picture together or someone brings up a story with him in it... Like I said please pray for me today.. mom too...
