Today, As i was in a Supermarket with my family, i met one of the owners of a competing Review Center who in the past was notorious in criticizing me and CBRC. We came face to face and I smiled. There was nothing negative in me that it was very easy for me to say Hi. He responded and say How are you, Sir? I said, Im fine, thanks you, with a smile. And we crossed paths! I was glad i heard the Sir which wasnt expected. I just realized that when review centers were engaged in smear campaigns against each other (and owners below the belt) i differentiated (and made it as a policy) that CBRC will never do the same. Others burnt their bridges, i did not. Peace was the seed we planted, and peace is what we now reap. Lesson: Be good (and do good) for you will never go wrong in being, even if others are not and chose not. Never solicit respect for it is accorded to those who deserve it. It is given to those who give it in the firat place. Peace begets peace and it makes one feels great igniting it. At the end of the day, we are who we are not as a creation of those people around us, but by the choices we make... To make a DIFFERENCE. By the way, he gained my respect too for such an act...humanely... Educated...civilized. We may not be friends, but we need not be enemies. Afterall, business is just what we do, it is not who we are!
