Today August 7th is a day I will always remember. One day, one word, one life changing event, tears, strength, pain, fear, power, love and finding out who I really am all came from this one little word. It was a word not a sentence...a word I will fight for the rest of my life, a word that sits heavy on my heart when I hear of others battles, a word that has forever changed my life! Today last year I was diagnosed with Cancer, today I can say that I have kicked its A$$! God put this battle into my life to never stop climbing and to bring even more awareness to me of how hard this disease truly is on our world. He gave me this battle to make me stronger so that my passion of Climbing Towards a Cure could be backed with experience and awareness I needed to never ever stop fighting! My battle may have been won but the war still rages on and I have my armor and sword and am off to battle and bring support and awareness for the rest of my life! Without every single one of you that prayed and every person that gave even a minute of their time to carry me through this battle...God bless you many times over, I couldnt have done any of this without the support of so much love from so many friends and family! THIS IS OUR BATTLE WE HAVE WON! I am GRATEFUL TO HAVE GONE THROUGH THIS DIS-EASE and stand stronger today thanks to it!
