"Today, Bad River welcomed an international group of visitors who were interested in learning about our struggle to protect the Bad River Watershed from mining. The group was in great hands led by Dennis Banks and Herb Powless. We talked about sacred food, that water is life, and babies. We did talk about money too, but mostly on how mining companies bought legislative votes and other things the mining company needs. - Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Anishinabe. Mashkiziibii."
