Today Brian and I have been thinking and talking about my dear Dad who left us this day 23years ago.Dad was the volunteer Resident Officer at the Colac Fire Station, that was were I lived a lot of years and also how Brian and I met when he came to Colac to work in 1967 when Regional Officer Jack Clark had a heart attack.The connection of this story is that Dad in early 90 became quite ill and was diagnosed with Polyartris Nedosa which is an Auto Immunine Disease and a Vasculitis also in the same family as what Brian was first diagnosed with, the irony to this story is there is no blood relation with Dad and Brian but they went to a lot of major fires together and Dad trained at Fisville and often visited us when we lived there,it makes you wonder.
