Today Captain Phil and his trusty crew from Boat Club Adventure Cruises took us for a cruise of the town reach of the Mary River. It was a great opportunity to see the city from a different perspective and with commentary from Lindsay Titmarsh, of Tandora fame, a special touch was added. Maryborough, along with the Mary River, is an historic port and her she is again playing and important role in connecting the two cities of Maryborough and Hervey Bay. For $10pp it was definitely value for money. Refreshments can be purchased on board. These town reach cruises will be run on the last Sunday of very month or you can take the extended cruises from Hervey Bay to Maryborough or Maryborough to Hervey Bay.
