Today David and I played at the Tampa Theatre for their Monty Python and the Holy Grape wine brunch fundraiser. It was fantastic! I had no idea they had a dining room floor that assembled over the seating area, and beautifully decorated tables, wine-tasting tables all over, a number of specialty restaurants serving very good brunch foods like French toast cobbler, curried rice/egg-salmon, tofu-scramble with mushroom and parsley gravy, even gourmet cheese grits! The service was top-notch, everything delicious, and if youve ever been to the Tampa Theatre (built in 1926), you know the venue was gorgeous. Dave and I had a great time playing all over the place, got into plenty of photos (will share when the theatre posts them), and sampled some of the wares. Hats off to Jill Revelle Witecki for putting on such a great affair! :-D
