Today, Dec 22, 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM KVFD TV Live - Preach and Grow Rich: Honey Attracts More than Vinegar A commenter on one of my videos earlier this year, advised me that ...God urgently wants us back with him...and ...you will catch more flies with honey than vinegar. While that is true, I suppose, its also true that the fullness of the good news of Jesus Christ is not that we can preach his gospel and grow rich! It teaches us that there are save two churches only, one is the church of the Lamb of God, and the other is the church of those opposed to the Lambs church, the harlot church, and if we dont belong to the one, we must necessarily belong to the other. There is no neutral ground to stand on. Moreover, the harlot church is now gathering together multitudes upon all the face of the earth to fight against the Lamb of God. It employs a variety of methods to this end, but all involve replacing the vinegar of repentance and denial and taking up one’s cross to follow in the suffering footsteps of Jesus, with the so-called “Word of Faith,” where the gullible are fed the honeyed promises of salvation for the asking and prosperity and riches, if only they will believe that God wants to give it to them. Forget that the faithful disciples of the Lord in the past have been stoned, sawn asunder, tempted, slain with the sword: left to wander about in sheepskins and goatskins; Being destitute, afflicted, tormented, and wandering in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth, as the apostle Paul puts it, but just think of all the good you can do in the world, when God makes you rich, as you profess with your lips and believe in your heart that Jesus is the Anointed One, and start naming and claiming the blessings you want from him.
