Today, December 16, in 1775, the legendary English author Jane Austen was born in Steventon, England. If your a Janeite (for the uninitiated, those are fans of Jane Austen), you may be interested to know that a previously unseen letter by Jane Austen has recently gone on display at the Torquay Museum in Devon. The double folded sheet, sent by Austen to her sister Cassandra in January 1799, makes reference to [Pride and Prejudice] - 14 years before it was first published.
