Today, Divine Love met me in my anger and grief and lifted me - TopicsExpress

Today, Divine Love met me in my anger and grief and lifted me up. I choose Love! I choose Peace! I choose to believe in Humanity with all the different colors in Her tapestry and all the different sounds in Her music. I choose to forgive others around me for programming and conditioning they had no control over, not excusing or overlooking injustice, but knowing that What Really Is is much greater than What Appears To Be. I choose to commit myself to understanding and listening with my heart, not suppressing or repressing my thoughts and emotions, but observing them in love, gaining Self-Mastery and coming to see what lies Beyond them. I choose to commit myself to raising my Vibration and watching Compassion shift the atmosphere around me. I open up my senses, on every plane, in every dimension, to Perfect Clarity. I sense clearly! I am in tune with my True Mind and True Heart and I believe that all Humanity is growing more of aware of that fact for them as well, no matter how things seem or appear. The True Mind can weather all the lies and illusions without being lost. The True Heart can touch the poison of hatred without being harmed - The Lion Turtle (Avatar: The Last Airbender) “When you look deeply into your anger, you will see that the person you call your enemy is also suffering. As soon as you see that, the capacity of accepting and having compassion for them is there.” - Thích Nhất Hạnh “When another person makes you suffer, it is because he suffers deeply within himself, and his suffering is spilling over. He does not need punishment; he needs help. Thats the message he is sending.” -Thích Nhất Hạnh “When you plant lettuce, if it does not grow well, you dont blame the lettuce. You look for reasons it is not doing well. It may need fertilizer, or more water, or less sun. You never blame the lettuce. Yet if we have problems with our friends or family, we blame the other person. But if we know how to take care of them, they will grow well, like the lettuce. Blaming has no positive effect at all, nor does trying to persuade using reason and argument. That is my experience. No blame, no reasoning, no argument, just understanding. If you understand, and you show that you understand, you can love, and the situation will change” - Thích Nhất Hạnh “If we could read the secret history of our enemies, we should find in each mans life sorrow and suffering enough to disarm all hostility. - Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
