Today Elvie: 1. Played a combination piano/drum solo to accompany our homeschool literature lesson. 2. Emptied half a box of dried fruit and nuts just after Id filled it, then explained (with great effort and many gestures) that shed emptied it in order to show Jarod that she can put things back in boxes. 3. Tried to feed the cats some of the dried fruit shed dropped on the floor. 4. When they declined the fruit, offered dirty tissues instead. 5. Slapped my face so hard as a joke that my cheeks turned red, then slapped herself and yelled, FUNNY! to prove that being hit is a joke that she herself enjoys. 6. Hugged my legs, made kissing noises, and said she loved me...then asked to watch the All About That Bass video. 7. Fell asleep in record time. (Hallelujah.)
