Today I am 57 years old... And I am so, SO grateful for every single day of this beautiful life. Our work here at Proud Spirit Horse Sanctuary keeps me humble, focused, appreciative and balanced. Im going to use this quote from the dedication page of my most recent book, The Dogs of Proud Spirit as my birthday wish: ~~~ To all dogs everywhere who are homeless, in a shelter, tied to a tree, or abandoned to a lonely pen... I wish for you a gentle hand, a full belly, a warm place to sleep and a family who will surround you with love. ~~~ If youve read this book, thank you.
