Today I am Thankful--as I am everyday, but today we share with each other why we are grateful. There is an old church song that goes: When upon life’s billows you are tempest-tossed, When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost, Count your many blessings, name them one by one, And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done. As I started counting it became very clear how amaziongly blessed I am and here are just a few. *My family, who loves me, cares for me, and supports me. Thanks for being you *The fact that at 37 I can look on my life--knowing Ive come a long way from a kid in Kansas and have set forth and reached all the goal I have set forth for myself. That my needs are taken care of and my wants are mostly supplied and that riches are not figured by the dollars in the bank, the car you drive, the bag you carry, but by the people you surround yourself with--they are the real treasures.
