Today I am feeling particularly grateful for my Poetic family, Poetavango Spoken Word Poetry. You guys are amazing and being a part of this movement has been an extraordinary experience for me. I am so grateful for the love and goodness you guys pour into everything you do. All the sacrifices and time spent to educate me and to build up my craft. Helping each other to find who we are artistically and unlocking the passion we need to write and speak out, now that takes character and humility. Devotion and faithfulness are not to be taken for granted. Only a few people can boast of finding a group of great men and women who congregate to fuel a movement that spreads wisdom and change. Your selfless acts of kindness and sacrifices will truly make a difference in the world we are living in. I am so humbled to be counted amongst such powerful and humble young people who are impacting the world today. You are a force to be reckoned with, a beautiful story that needs to be told. You carry an aroma of greatness. I love you guys with the love of God. And this is a toast to 2014, a year of open doors. Let the games begin.
