Today I am grateful for another prayer answered. I have been praying (and I know you have, too!) to feel normalcy in our family. I havent felt angry, or hardly ever a grieving that I know a lot of special needs parents experience. I HAVE been feeling so surprised the last four months to be in this place. I still feel surprised that I went into labor early, let alone all this! :-) Anyway, the last week Ive felt normal-- this is me, this is my son, this is my family. Therapy? Sure. Worrying? Well work on it. Love? Easy. Levis issues (I guess I should call them special needs!) have evolved into normalcy... like if we were talking about his eye color or hair color. I am relieved! I cant think of the actual scripture reference (just the song lyrics!) but I keep thinking: Here I am! Lord send me. Were ready to love and serve God and others!
