Today, I am officially a homeowner. A big deal, sure. But its a huge deal for me. Not long ago I was living in Kerrie Kings shed. After that I had a box spring and a mattress in the corner of a loft in a house with my buds Craig Greene, Malachi and Caleb Mckinney, and Travis Clark. Were it not for the benefit of real, true friends and my sister Stephanie Day I would have been homeless. Now, 7 years later, thats something Ill never have to worry about again. Tonight I reflect. Tonight I will miss those days, not because of the hardship I faced, but because of the feeling that came with knowing there were those who truly had my back. I love you all. Someday, somehow, Ill pay you back. I promise.
