Today I am preparing for tomorrow! We were still able to celebrate my parents wonderful Years together Saturday with our immediate family and yesterday was my mental day. I feel calm and ready to face this first surgery head on! Today I tied up my loose ends that I of course felt needed to be done (because giving up complete control is soooo easy for me :). (There are only 4 sticky notes on the cabinet ..... Thats pretty good!!!) I have received some visitors and so many people are sending such sweet messages letting me know you are all with me! I am confident in my surgeons and team that God will be leading....i am ready for this cancer to be gone and ultimately so incredibly thankful it can be removed so easily! I am also very confident that my pain will be managed well... Because I expect nothing less :). I am hoping to be home by Saturday.
