Today I am reflecting on all the things Im thankful for. Its been a good year and Im blessed with many things. Firstly, Im thankful that I have the opportunity to receive an education. This opportunity is not granted to all people and I feel grateful to have the loving support of my husband Kevin James Hume and the financial ability to make this dream of mine a possibility. Im thankful that I live in a nation where women are able to get an education and I pray for my sisters around the world that are struggling and fighting for the same opportunity. Secondly, Im thankful for Ashley Donaldson. This beautiful woman came into my life less then a year ago and has quickly found a place in my heart. She goes out of her way to check in with me and make sure Im going well. She is generous (probably the most generous person I know) and is always spoiling me. Ash and Tom Hume have opened the home to us many times this year and we always feel recharged and loved when we leave (with our bellies full of food!!) Ashley is a source or encouragement and a model of strength to me. She loves deeply. She is brilliantly smart and is always searching for things that will help Kev and I in any aspect of our lives. She has brought family harmony and for that I will alway be truly thankful. She is my ally, my confidante, my friend and my sister. (Plus her and Tom gave us the cutest niece ever!!!!!) Thirdly, I am thankful for my family. My husband, parents and little brother. Never do feel more loved then when I am in their presence. I am so blessed to have my husband. He is the most important person in my life. He is my biggest source of encouragement and the one who understands me the best. He never rushes my thoughts and will sit and talk with me for hours( sometimes to our detriment when we need to get thing done!) I love him and I always feel safe in his love for me.
