Today! I am so happy. I feel so proud because of our young volunteers who are working for long hours to help our people who are still stranded in their houses. Those living around hawal, Hazratbal etc. who are giving everything that a normal kashmiri stores for his family to survive in the winters is simply a fantastic display of love and care that every religion try to teach. Our diaspora who raised funds and did everything to help our people(some even came back only to help), those journalists who doubled up and saved so many people, those kids who gave away their savings, these and many Kashmiris made me think that Kashmir has been blessed with kind and generous people. Yes! The floods were catastrophic but the sheer humanity that kashmiris have displayed, I would say you defeated the flood. You have won! You have made us proud. Next time if anyone said to you that Kashmiris arent trustworthy, kick his @**.
