Today I am stepping back from the Assistant District Captain position. With my new work load and available time, I do not feel I can fulfill the position requirements. I will remain a Ride Captain and fill roles as my time permits. The Triangle District has excellent leaders in place so this transition should be seamless. It is all about the Heroes not who is leading any mission. I appreciated the Honor of being our first DC and Tom Meece is an excellent choice to lead us for the next 2 years. See everyone on the flag line. Do what you can, when you can.
