Today I am thankful for a specific person -- MD Hartwein! God bless this wonderful woman who twentyfffffssssstttt...something years ago looked at my pimple-filled face and said those magical words, You look like a trombone player! And play the trombone I did...and have...and what a blessing that has been to my life. Thanks to the wisdom and guidance of this wonderful woman, I have met so many people who have become my friends, colleagues, teachers, advisers, and role models. I attended college on a scholarship. I have been places and had experiences I never would have had on my own. What an incredible gift you gave me so many years ago, Mrs. Hartwein! Thank you! From the bottom of my heart, thank you! And thank you for your continued friendship! P.S. Are you gonna get out and walk today? ;)
