Today I am thankful for my co workers. As I scramble around the house this morning......fine tuning my house....as well as having my coffee, I realize I am looking FORWARD (yes, you heard me) to getting to the office. Not only do I have one of the best jobs on the planet (thank you Lord); I work with some of the coolest people as well. The ENTIRE crew at the City Of Gulf Shores is truly my family. We have been through so much together in the time I have been there. We have been through economic downturns, storms, oil spills, chaos and magic! We stuck it out....saw it through and will do the same with the next challenge. What MOSTLY amazes me is the fact that we strive for TOP quality in everything we do (did you actually SEE any tape on the walls at out Halloween event? ;)); but we dont take ourselves too seriously. It IS possible to produce top notch quality and service while having fun, caring for each other....and pulling together as true friends/family who transcend the lines of bosses/co workers, yet always RESPECTING that invisible line that is there. Its a wonderful balance. And while no job is perfect, and there have been days I wanted to scream ; I keep pushing through because FAR MORE are the days I sit with tears in my eyes thanking God for my job and my co workers.....as they do NOT come any better!
