Today I am thankful for the life that God has blessed me with, the many friends that I dont get to see very often (but have sooo many memories with), a family that accepts me as I am, my job and the amazing people I work with, but beyond all else I am most thankful for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who has forgiven me of any and all sins that I have committed. As I begin this day, I am reminded that we all fall short of the glory of God. It is because of this knowledge of the Word of God and His example of unconditional love that I can forgive others and move forward, sometimes to a flaw. Have you taken the time to thank our Creator for your existence? Are you willing to accept that you fall short and sin everyday? Will you believe that Jesus died on a cross for those sins? Can you confess to the world that Jesus is Lord of all and that you need him for salvation from a burning hell? There are so many of us that have accepted Him as our Savior who forget that He not only saves us from eternal damnation, but he also brings us to a righteous life on this earth. The closer we draw to God, the more blessings we receive. I truly believe that without a connected relationship to God that the human race will continue to wander around this earth like a flock of lost geese. God is our true north. Let Him lead you in the right direction.
