Today, I am thankful for today. After everything that has happened over the last two months before getting a diagnosis and meds I thought I was going to die, I honestly believed that. So today I am thankful that I can go have lunch with my best friend of 20 years and then spend it with my family where it will be loud with kids running around, my aunt will no doubt be louder than anyone else and I will probably leave with a headache. My parents will most likely drive me nuts about taking it easy because I get tired, I will see my godson who has also been through hell but you would never know because after my initial hug and kiss he will disappear with the other kids and only be seen at dinner and desert, he is one of the strongest kids I know. There will probably be some kind of disagreement followed by an insane amount of laughter because thats my family and I wouldnt have it any other way. So today I am truly thankful to God for this day and to be breathing. Merry Christmas to everyone and I hope you will enjoy the same chaotic day that I will and treasure it as I will.
