Today, I am very grateful for my eyesight, as well as my other senses to appreciate this seemingly blue sky, L.A. sunshine. I pray wherever you are, you can find something about Nature (God) that you can appreciate too. The first woman that Ive seen today in sandals appeared to be in her 60s. Her feet looked a little rough. I dont think she regularly gets pedicures. However, I am thankful that she has on a pair of sturdy sandals. I was talking to a Brown Brother about Jamaica and how many people there were w/o shoes. And then he told me about his home town / city of Puebla in Mexico. He stated to me that if a parent has more than 2 children, quite often only the oldest 2 will get shoes, especially when the younger ones younger than 10. Reminded me of what I saw in Trenchtown. And then I reflected on L.A. = the City of Angels, which is considered the homeless capitol of the U.S., where Black people are the largest portion of said population. However, the numbers of the slave masters children = whites are growing at what should be alarming rates for them.
