Today I and my fellow Friends of the Woodland Park Zoo Elephants donned our orange t-shirts and attended the Seattle City Council Budget meeting to give voice to the remaining two elephants Bamboo and Chai - who are being detained there. We are committed to the retirement of the elephants to a sanctuary and to the closure of the live elephant exhibit at the zoo. We intend to keep the pressure on Seattles Mayor and City Council.
