Today I attended a memorial service for a very special dear friend that we called my brother Grant Stone. I love you Vonda Michael Candy and Roy. Love you little brother Rest In Paradise I never had to leave a home going celebration. Its hard now anyway but funerals are for the living. Vonda didnt even stay in. Am I wrong for not feeling comfortable. The minister started by putting down her previous religion and called folks out from that religion to change over if they were in the room. She later caught my attention by saying some good things. But then she called another person she didnt know out and he walked out. She then asked who want to be saved and I was moved by how many stood up. She then started to speak about having faith and spoke about her son being shot in the head and pronounced dead and she said not her son or something to that effect. She then went on about how strong her faith is and because of her faith her son survived. I may be wrong but ministers or people should be careful what they say and how they say it. Because one year ago my child was on life support and I have faith and will always have faith and trust and believe in God. And my child didnt survive. So is she saying we dont have enough faith and shes better than us? Thats the way she spoke she kept repeating it. I had to leave. Maybe I was just in my feelings. I get mad just watching tv which is not real when people come out of comas or on life support. Its hard enough !
