Today, I believe I heard that God does not care about out happiness but He cares about our holiness. I see it different. God cares about my holiness because He sent me a Savior Jesus to be my righteousness, my Holiness and he also cares about my happiness because the second fruit of the Spirit is JOY joy joi/ noun 1. a feeling of great pleasure and happiness. tears of joy synonyms: delight, great pleasure, joyfulness, jubilation, triumph, exultation, rejoicing, happiness, gladness, glee, exhilaration, exuberance, elation, euphoria, bliss, ecstasy, rapture; More pleasure, source of pleasure, delight, treat, thrill Galatians 5:22-23 22 And the fruit of the Spirit is: Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, Ecclesiastes 9:7 7 Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for it is now that God favors what you do. Proverbs 10:28 28 The prospect of the righteous is joy, but the hopes of the wicked come to nothing. Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world. The joy is knowing He has overcome the world And He is in my favor. Im so blessed.
