Today I called the people at Obamacare! The recording told me that I may want to call at another time when the wait would not be as long. I was told the wait would be around 20 minutes. It was 15. I had a simple question...well two. The person that took the call was courteous, knowledgeable (sounded gay). My question was simple. Since the application form asks for the combined income of a household, should two unmarried people apply as 2 singles, or one household? He said it was a good question and to apply as you file your taxes. Easy...We were done! I told him that our insurance would stay the same (company)PPO and that we would save $300 a month. He very cheerfully thanked me for sharing that good news.
