Today I cant help but think about how much Bobby loved to go to Sharkathon. He LOVED it. He was able to spend time with some of his closest friends and do dumb stuff, lol! At first it made me nervous. They fish for sharks people. Every year as it drew closer he would get giddy like a school girl. His friends Jeff Holman and Chuck Ellis now go to Sharkathon with Bobby in their hearts and on their grill. (Its actually pretty cool how they added Bobby to their grill). As the year anniversary creeps closer and closer I alternate between digging my feet in the sand and embracing it. I dig for obvious years. I embrace it because that means we have survived a year. We are still kicking, breathing and choosing joy. I hope that you guys can embrace that day instead of let the emotions of fear, anger, frustration infiltrate you. Monday starts our chapter 2. Our eyes to the future and the opportunities that God is giving us. We take Bobby where ever we go, but we continue to go. We are not at a standstill, suspended in what we wish we still had. Today do something fun with someone one you love. Bobby would choose fishing if he were here. Today for fun I choose to eat Popsicles outside with the kids. #bh234 #choosejoy #chapter2
