Today I celebrate 2 years since I had my liver transplant so Id like to invite you all to give thanks with me. All day Ive been trying to think of the best way to express how grateful, blessed and lucky I feel but nothing I can think of comes close to it. Firstly, Id like to thank GOD for my life. It has been a rough 2 years but this year Im much better than I was last year and last year I was much better than I was in 2012. A very close second is my donor family. I cannot imagine how painful it must have been for them to loose someone that close to them and in that pain, still be so generous to people they dont know and may never meet. When I see how cruel we as humans can be to each other, I want to loose hope in humanity, then I remember that Im here because of the kindness we can exhibit, even when we dont know who will benefit from it. Id like to thank you all for you continued prayers, kind thoughts, best wishes and support. Heres to many more years of good health🎂.
