Today I celebrate a very special moment in my life. Today I am 25 years sober. I am full of gratitude that I love life; I learned to love myself and all those around me. My amazing kids and wonderful husband covered the house in 25 year post it notes with great memories and reminders! Some made me laugh and some cry. I love that I still am in touch with those of you I got sober with in Dallas-you know who you are in Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona, Missouri etc.. One day at a time I turned my life and desire to drink over to a higher power. Life is tough but there’s support and a great sober life out there for those still suffering this disease.
