Today I celebrate all SINGLE PARENTS, who raise their children in the midst of it all and are determined to see the best out of their children. I do not care about the reasons they are single parents but my focus is on the work load they bear and responsibilities they have in making sure their children are well off. I celebrate them because: 1. They have to play two roles day in and day out, while others fail to play just one role. 2. They made a decision to raise their children in the absence of support from the other parent. 3. They are fathers to that unruly boy in need of a father who is absent. 4. They are a mother to an adolescent girl that believes that if mom was around things would have been better and different. 5. They build stability in their children’s life while putting their own lives in order. 6. Others are called names for the reasons they are single parents but still they stand and continue with life. 7. Their determination and focus is on the fact that their children do not feel the absent of the other parent. Let me tell you, it doesn’t matter that status, God is there for you and He shall help you to raise those children. Just stand firm and continue the good work. Proud of you!!!!
