Today I chaired a cabinet meeting during which we approved the General Federal Budget for 2015 at AED 49 billion. The budget is balanced: expenditure equals income. It funds all of our plans for government according to strict financial standards. Social development and benefits account for 49% of spending. Government services will receive AED 20 billion. We also adopted executive regulations for the law on economic competition and intellectual property.
