Today I committed a fatal mistake. My phone battery was 5% charged, my laptop was 50% charged. I said to myself it has been 2 days since the last time electricity went out. so its okay if I wait til I have my breakfast, there is no need to hurry. coz nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished as Lao Tzu once said. but who is Lao Tzu? He didnt live in Egypt after all. as a result, while I was enjoying my breakfast and scrolling through Seinfeld episodes to pick one to watch, there has been absolute silence. the fan stopped moving, the bulbs stopped emitting their lights, songs coming from the street couldnt make their way up to my window, and most probably the earth stopped spinning. I dont know if earth is powered by solar or geothermal energies, I never thought about it before, but even if it does, Im sure that the part of earth where Egypt is located certainly stops spinning when electricity goes out. My mistake is that I trusted El Sisi, they told us he was angry and told the government to solve the problem immediately or he will burn them alive with the optic force blasts of his eyes. but frankly, they dont give a f*ck about his anger. his eyes dont have super powers. he might even suffer cataracts! so I ended up connecting my phone to my laptop draining its poor battery hoping both wont shutdown before the crazy people in charge of this country decide that life should shine one more time on this poor part of the planet.
