Today I contacted KRAFFT FOODS to talk to them about the product line of MIO Liquid water enhancer. The current sweetener is Propaline Glycol. I told them that Propaline Glycol is what I put in my van otherwise known as antifreeze and that the MSDS sheets for Propaline Glycol say not to ingest but if accidental ingestion not to induce vomiting but seek emergency help at a local hospital. I further suggested that they use Stevia extract as a safe sweetener as an alternative. Their response was to tell me that it (Propaline Glycol) is a common ingrediand found in many other food items and not to be concerned. They also told me that they would make note to their quality assurance dept. We will see if they are serious about supplying safe, quality products to us or not.
