Today I did get to spend a little time with momma and daddy. They had errands to run around town. When daddy went into the bank, he walked up behind one of the little girls he knew from years gone by when he and momma were working to develop a CHS Marching band. She was standing in front of him, and he tugged on her purse handle. She knew immediately who daddy was, and it tickled him to death!! Now I would estimate that little girl would probably be around 68, but to daddy she was just another one of those little girls in the band. Oh, I remember her too!! All of those kids in the band treated me just like a little sister!!! So, I just want to thank each and every one of the kids who attended CHS and grew up in Catlettsburg for taking time out of your days to say hello to my momma and daddy, give them a smile, and share a memory!! You all ROCK, and I am so very thankful to have grown up in a small town with such wonderful people!!
