Today , I experienced the NEW healthcare and I am not impressed. I have had sinus pain and congestion for 6 weeks. This weekend I got a new fever and worsening symptoms so today I finally called my Dr. I was told by the receptionist that I could not be seen because I probably just had a virus. I was told to go home and take musinex and call back tomorrow if I was not better. REALLY????? Then I called Kiras Dr about the MRI for her knee which has been diagnosed as a probable ACL tear. The insurance has refused to cover it. Needless to say , I am not happy. I intend to handle this the correct way and I will get the services that I have paid for ( yes I pay for health coverage). Furthermore, I plan to be proactive politically because we are in trouble. That we is all of us. If you havent experienced this yet - it is coming.
