Today I felt more beautiful than I have in a long time. I got out of bed earlier than I needed to, put myself together and went to work. For the first time in a few months I woke up not feeling the need to hear from a man how I looked and I reminded myself that today was not just an ordinary day...it was a day I will never get back and that my job was not just a place I go for a paycheck, its a place of strong, supportive, beautiful women just like myself. Ive been hard on myself because of changes due to pregnancy, but this is my body and I have nothing to apologize for. It has grown 3 tiny humans, allowed me to feed them and to love them. I felt good today...and tomorrow will be even better.
