Today I fitted a Above knee prosthesis. The main features of this prosthesis is its multi flexed ankle foot it is a very multi talented combination. Torsional movement, inversion and eversion provides comfort and stability as per individual requirements. secondly the knee joint which is used in this prosthesis is modular monocentric safety knee joint . It is very light weight, thus easy to handle for the patient . Its weight limit is 100 kg .the weight actvated locking mechanisms provides stability in the stance phase and a spring unit assists in the extension.thirdly we attached a suction socket in this prosthesis which provide maximum safety and comfort
